LADIES ~ The leadership team is looking for a few good women! Our UMW is led by a team of women rather than President and Vice President. Would you like to have more input on what we do at UMW meetings? We usually meet on the Saturday morning 2 weeks prior to the general meeting. We go by the philosophy that many hands make light work and we could use a few more hands! Could God be calling YOU to help out more with the UMW? Speak to anyone on the team for more information or to volunteer. Lakewood's Leadership Team members are: Bev Shrum, Sharon Swanson, Debbie Bisbee, Jean Shirley, Kathy Fisher, Cindy Brown, Christine Kell, Marty Reddinger and Jackie Garnon. Please consider joining the team!

The UMW meets the second Saturday of each month with a mission of helping others inside and outside the church!

The Purpose of United Methodist Women
The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
